Whiteout

Hey guys!
For those of you guys in Sunny California with me, I hope you're surviving this heat wave right now. I'm currently melting away as I type this.

Today's look is a perfect look for sunny summer weather.
I found this adorable dress at a little boutique in Napa valley, and I absolutely fell in love with it. It's perfect for summer during music festivals or even just at the beach. I wore it as a regular dress, but you could definitely use it as a beach cover up if you just wear it over your bikini.

I'm all about simplicity as you all should know by now, and this look is no different. I tried to keep the outfit pretty simple because the dress is already cute as is and I don't want to add too much flare because it would honestly just take away from it.

Just to add a little bit of a summery vibe to it I wore these super reflective blue aviators that give the outfit a nice pop.

Hope you guys enjoyed!

Rise and Shine

Hey guys!
I apologize for the delay I was actually on vacation for about a week in Cancun!
It was absolutely amazing and I got so tan (Yea I know I still look pale as heck! But this tan for me).

Anyways! I'm back with a brand new look for you guys!
My mind is still on vacation mode so this look is super casual and comfortable. I got this amazing sweater at H&M. It looks like a dress but it's actually just a XL sized sweater. I really like baggy sweaters that feel like blankets and this huge sweater was perfect for just that. It's comfortable but at the same time it has a really nice flow to it!

I'm wearing shorts under it to just have a really comfortable and casual look to it, but if you want to dress it up a bit you could definitely wear some leggings or skinny jeans. I know that summer is coming up and a lot of the cute things available are full of neon colors and floral prints, but you really can't go wrong with basic grey and white. I always just add some lipstick to play it up a bit so it's not too plain!

Singing Blues

Hey guys!
With Mother's Day being tomorrow, I'm sure most of you guys are getting ready to take your beautiful moms out for brunch, lunch, dinner, etc.

This is a perfect outfit that's very mom-friendly but also super cute at the same time! Because let's be honest, showing up to Mother's Day lunch in a crop top and shorts may not be the best way to say thanks to mom.

I went with this basic maxi dress that's perfect for spring/summer. Maxi's are always classy and have such a beautiful flow to them. You can dress it up with wedges and accessorizing or you could play it down with flats as well. I decided to pair the dress with these floral wedges to give it a little sparkle so it wasn't too plain.

I went with very natural hair and makeup to give it the beachy and casual look. My mom also doesn't like it when I wear too much makeup so I had to keep it au natural!

Earn Your Stripes

Hey guys! I’m so so sorry that this post is so delayed! I recently went on a trip to New York and after I returned I’ve been crazy stumped with work trying to catch up! It was such an amazing experience getting to see all of the beautiful fashionistas in New York!

But now I’m back with a new look that is perfect for summer!

Today’s look features stripes which are really in right now! I wanted to create a casual and comfortable look for summer, and this is the product. I generally try to avoid pairing crop tops with regular jeans because I usually like to pair them with high waisted jeans/shorts, but If you find a top that’s the right size it can totally work out.

I’m a fan of thin stripes compared to big bold stripes because I think they can come off a little too strong and bulky, so this crop top from forever 21 was a perfect find! Not to mention it was only eight dollars (Score!)

This would be a perfect look to go explore around town, or to just go for a casual lunch. The jeans are comfortable enough to walk around in all day which makes it perfect for summer when you’re out and about more often.

Couchella

Hey guys!
I'm sure most of my Californian readers, as well as every music lover is going to be at Coachella this weekend. So although I'll be sitting around on my couch instead of listening to music and riding ferris wheels, in honor of Coachella I created a music festival inspired look!

I think that being comfortable is definitely important during music festivals because you're gonna be running around everywhere. Another thing about music festivals is that it gets really hot, so you definitely need to be in shorts and a crop top. That's basically a must. But if you're like me and don't want to get weird tan lines, you also want a little coverage. That's where a kimono cardigan comes in handy! It's light enough to protect you from the sun a little bit, but not so heavy that you'll be sweating like crazy.

I also kept everything pretty simple so I wouldn't have too many patterns and prints going on. Simplicity is always a good idea.

Candy Colors

Hey guys!
Can you believe we're already in April? There are flowers blossoming everywhere and it's really starting to feel like spring. I don't know about you but I'm absolutely loving it!

Today's look is a perfect look for spring! Floral prints are gonna start popping up everywhere and this dress has so many beautiful colors for spring. I'm a big fan of cute pastel colors during spring, and although the dress is filled with all the perfect colors I wanted to add an extra touch. Which is where the purse and the necklace came in to help.

I chose this purse because it brings out the cute pastel blue colors in the dress, balancing out the pink in the dress. But you also don't want to overdo the accessorizing with the same colors so I kept the heels a neutral cream color.
