Leather For This Weather

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
I hope that you’re all spending today with those you love, and that you’re stuffing your face with some amazing food. I’m writing this up quickly before I start cooking for the day, so wish me luck!

It seems that California is beginning to run out of the beautiful sunny days and everyday is getting colder and colder. Bur fear not! Today’s look features a leather jacket which is an absolute essential for the upcoming cold days. Not only are leather jackets super fashionable, they keep you nice and warm which is essential for fall/winter.

I paired the leather jacket with this cute flower print dress to make the look a little softer and feminine. I like to pair big leather jackets with feminine pieces to give it that contrast. You can still wear dresses during fall/winter! Just make sure to adjust accordingly by adding winter pieces!

Crop It Like It's Hot

Hey guys!

Yes, I know crop tops are for summer, and I know I’m breaking the rules by wearing one in late November. BUT! I’m gonna do it anyways.  Sorry not sorry.

This outfit is perfect for hitting the bars or going out on a cold November night. Wearing the coat and tights definitely makes the outfit work for colder weather. The crop top is also an Aztec print which works really well for fall fashion.

Whenever I want to wear shorts during winter I just throw on some tights underneath it. It works out perfectly because not only is it warmer, it looks fashionable and super cute.

Back In the Cold Days

Hey guys!

I’ve been working every single day for the past couple weeks and haven’t had time to do any blogging which is why my post is so late! I’m gonna try to get back to posting more regularly so bare with me!

Today’s look is a perfect look for an autumn day that’s a little bit chilly. We’re back to having a little bit of colder weather in California so it’s time for the long sleeves to come out.

The look is really simple so it’s perfect for everyday fashion. The look is aimed towards colder weather and fall styles but I wanted to add some color to the look, and the skirt was perfect for that. I know pink isn’t in your typical fall fashion color palette, but it’s totally okay to experiment with colors because there’s no one way to do things when it comes to styling.

Hope you guys enjoyed!

Taking Steps is Easy, Standing Still is Hard

Hey guys!
Happy Veterans Day! Just want to give a special thank you to everyone who is or has served in the military. Thank you for keeping us safe and feeling protected.

Today’s look is an everyday look that is super simple and casual. I really love taking simple pieces and adding accessories to make it fashionable. I just wore a loose tank top with leggings and boots, and I’m sure these are all pieces that everyone has in their closets!

It’s easy to just find a super cute piece of clothing and base your look on that, but a lot of times my readers may not have access to them so I decided to create a look that any of you could easily create from things you already have!

Adding rings and bracelets can really help with making the outfit chic, and that’s just what I did for this look. All of the accessories are from forever 21 and they’re really inexpensive considering the good quality!

Palm Trees and Paradise

Hey guys!

California is experiencing some extremely warm weather in November (Yay!) so I decided to have a super summer-y outfit. God, I love living here. One day I’m wearing layers and enjoying fall fashion, and the next day I’m wearing shorts and a tank top. I've been hiding behind layers and layers of clothing so now it’s time to get back into my natural habitat (in shorts and a t-shirt sitting out in the sun).

This palm tree print shirt helps me escape into paradise (doesn't it just scream vacation?) so I paired that with white denim shorts for a perfect beach look. It’s a super casual look that could be worn pretty much anywhere! Finally, the big floppy hat screams summer so it was a perfect addition to my little piece of summer in November.

As Simple As It Gets

Hey guys! Happy November and also remember that it’s Election Day. Hope you’re all voting today!

I love jumpsuits, and I am absolutely obsessed with this silky sophisticated jumpsuit that I found in Japan. I think you need to be careful with jumpsuits sometimes because they can come off as looking really tacky so when I found a super sophisticated jumpsuit I was so excited. It’s really classy and so versatile that you can wear it a lot of different ways.

The fabric is really silky and beautiful so you could definitely wear this to the office if you wear a blazer over it. You could also dress it down and wear it casually if you wear simple wedges. I kept it simple by not adding too much accessory to keep it very casual but you could accessorize it and make it more sophisticated as well!

Sugar Skull

Hey guys! Hope you guys had a great Halloween and that you’re recovering from a crazy night!

Today’s post is a special Halloween post showing you guys my costume! I just watched the Book of Life last weekend and I decided to have a Day of the Dead inspired costume! The outfit is just all black and simple because the makeup is the important part. I wanted the face to stand out so I gathered all my black articles of clothing.

I’m not going to lie the makeup did take a while because it was hard to get half the face super white (layers and layers of white makeup), but overall it was totally worth it!

If you guys are looking for a costume idea for tonight then this would be a super simple and easy idea!

Hope you guys enjoyed!
