Trench&Co

Hey guys! I hope your Monday is treating you well!
It's officially trench coat season in the bay area and i'm taking full advantage of it.
I wanted to have a look that has a cross between a sophisticated and casual vibe so I wore shorts under the trench. The trench coat has ruffles and is really sophisticated whereas the shorts and shirt are more casual.

The heels I got from DSW shoes also gives it the sophisticated vibe. It's the perfect shade of maroon which is perfect for autumn, and also gives the outfit a pop of color that it needs. Mixing different styles is always fun because you can get a really unique look, and I always try to experiment with when styling outfits.

I Don't Give a Chic

Hey guys!
Today's look features one of the that must have item for fall: flannels!
Everyone has at least one flannel shirt that they have in the back of their closet as their go to for pumpkin patches and everything autumn.

I personally like to wear flannel shirts around the waist more like accessory than clothing because it adds a unique feel to the look, but obviously you could wear it normally as well! The romper I'm wearing underneath is a light denim that contrasts with the brighter shades in the flannel. I paired the outfit with boots to keep it casual and simple!

Sweater Weather

Hey guys!
Today's look is all about this super comfortable sweater I got from Urban Outfitters.
I walked in and the moment I felt the material I knew I had to buy it. It's literally the softest sweater ever. I'm almost worried it'll just melt in my hand the moment I pick it up. And being comfortable during this season is a must so I obviously had to buy it.

When fall strikes you start wearing a bunch of sweaters and comfy knits, so I think accessorizing becomes more important than ever. But at the same time you don't want to go over the top, so I think rings are a great way to spice up an outfit. I wore a bunch of boho rings to accessorize enough to be fashionable without going too crazy.

The rest of the outfit is pretty simple becasue you all know I love my casual outfits. Less is more!

Boy Meets Girl

Hey guys!
Today's look pairs feminine pieces with boyfriend jeans. Well, in my case these are actually my brothers' jeans. But they fit like boyfriend jeans so it's all good.

When I wear boyfriend jeans I generally keep the other pieces really feminine. In this look I paired together the jeans with this slightly translucent top and pumps. Contrasting boyish pieces with feminine pieces can really give it that sexy look. This is definitely a summer look but you could easily make it an autumn look if you throw on a jacket or cardigan.

Always Be a Mermaid

Hey guys! Happy Sunday!
Sorry it's been a few days since my last post. I've seriously been crazy busy and I had absolutely no time to do anything other than work for the past week and a half. But now i'm done with most of the craziness so I'll be back to posting more regularly!

Today's look is all about this little dress that has a beautiful flow. The flow and the color makes me feel like a mermaid in the ocean (hence the title). And as they say, "Always be yourself. Unless you can be a mermaid. Then always be a mermaid."

The top half is black leather and the bottom half is a flowy mint skirt, so you kind of have a hard and soft thing going on. I accessorized with this starfish necklace and boho rings to give it the summery mermaid vibe. All I need now is to be at the beach.

Hope you enjoyed!

Bang Bang There Goes Your Heart

Hey guys! Hope you're all enjoying this beautiful Sunday! Sorry I'm a little late in posting this new look! I just started a new job and I've been super busy with lots of new and exciting things going on in my life.

Today's look is a sleek look that's very black-heavy. I will admit that I did regret wearing this the moment I stepped outside and realized it was 100 degrees, but fashion first right? I'm currently obsessing over these high wasted black jeans from Forever 21 because they're just so comfortable but look nice enough to wear for any occasion! It's really easy to dress them up or down. Versatility is so important when choosing out pieces for your closet because most of us have to reuse and different pieces and can't just buy new clothes all the time!

Wearing all black always gives a classy and badass vibe, so to keep that feel I paired the outfit with classic black heels. The cardigan is light and simple enough to add class to the outfit without taking away from it.

Feeling Slitty

Happy October everyone! I hope everyone is having a great week so far.
Today's look is a summer look that can be either casual (like how I wore it) or more fancy depending on the shoes you wear!

I thought that autumn was approaching and then the California sun came right back and I reverted back to summer. I'm not complaining though, I absolutely love summer fashion.

The slit in the skirt is big enough to be sexy but not too showy which I love. I paired the skirt with a crop top to give it a summery vibe. To keep the outfit casual, I paired the outfit with some nude wedges but you can have more intense heels if you want to make the outfit more fancy.
