Fringe Factor

Hey guys!

I recently just returned from a trip to beautiful San Diego, and I wanted to create a look that's perfect for summer. I know music festival season is coming up as well, so it's time to pull out the crop tops and high waisted shorts.

I found this great fringe vest that's absolutely perfect for summer. The tribal pattern of the vest is really great for music festivals. It's a statement piece on it's own, so I kept the rest of the outfit more neutral. I think summer is all about comfort, and sometimes wearing too much accessory can be uncomfortable when you're just trying to enjoy a concert or a day out at the beach. So during summer time I try to look for pieces that are bold on its' own, so I can keep the rest simple.

Although I wanted to keep the outfit simple, I definitely didn't want to have a boring outfit without a pop, so that's where I chose to wear the green crop top. Often times I do love having a really basic black and white outfit, but I think that when you're enjoying a beautiful summer day, that's the perfect time to bring out some colors.

Kasual City

Hey guys!
Happy almost st. patrick's day! I hope you all remember to wear green tomorrow because there's those annoying people who think it's funny to pinch you...

Today's look is a very casual look. If you live in California like me, then you know that it's officially high waisted shorts season. There's plenty of music festivals and concerts so you want an outfit that's comfortable but also super cute at the same time.

One of my favorite ways to style an outfit is to keep everything very basic and black and white, but then add a pop of color or an accent piece to spice it up. I love this vibrant blue denim jacket because it does just that. It's bright enough to add a pop to the outfit without being so overpowering to the point where you can't enjoy the rest of the outfit.

I also am a firm believer that every girl should own a pair of crocheted TOMS. It's comfortable, it's cute, it goes with everything, and the list goes on and on. I'm a big rainbow sandals kinda girl, but I do admit that they look way too casual and not fashionable enough. TOMS gives you the right amount of fashionable touch but at the same time they're extremely comfortable. Win-win right?

Is it summer yet?

Hey guys!

Today's look is a really feminine look inspired by the fact that it was international women's day this past weekend! Yes, i know that women don't always need to be wearing extremely feminine and floral print dresses, but i think all of us have that day that we just want to wear a cute little dress paired with wedges and lipstick. This look is for that day that we just want to feel girly with chocolates and dresses.

The weather is finally starting to get to the point where we can call it summer. I've been impatiently waiting for months and i'm so excited i can finally pull out all my skirts and dresses! I found this amazing dress at Urban Outfitters and I absolutely had to have it. It has such a beautiful floral print and the back of the dress is to die for. You could wear a cute bralette under or do what i did and wear a bra that has a cute strap.

This outfit would be perfect for a casual lunch date or shopping with friends. It's already pretty casual as it is, but you could always tone it down even more by changing up the shows to something a little less high.

Marley Monday

Hey guys! Happy Monday!

Today's look is an outfit that's perfect to fight off the Monday blues.
Nothing like a little Marley to start off the week am i right?

So this is a shirt that I stole from one of my ex's (we all do it right?)
What was formerly a baggy pajama shirt can be turned into a cute top just by cutting off the sides.
It was originally a t-shirt but I cut the sleeves off as well as around the neck to make it this really casual tank top with the open sides. I wear this shirt all the time because it's cute not only as casual wear, but also as a workout shirt.

I paired the shirt with white high waisted jeans to brighten it up a little bit, and to make it just a little more fancy I wore some wedges with it. This outfit shows that you can create a cute outfit with just about anything, it's just important to be a little creative.
